Rev. Linda Farmer-Lewis
Rev. Linda Farmer-Lewis retired as Pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Lansing, Michigan in 2017. She is a graduate in Music Education from Michigan State University in Choral Education, and formerly the director of the Stockbridge Festival Chorus. In addition to serving churches in Michigan and Wisconsin for the last 35 years, Linda also taught K-12 Music for Homer Public Schools. As part of the Albion Community Theater scene, Linda and her husband, Bill, acted and directed numerous stage plays and musicals. A Lansing native, Linda comes from a musical family, her grandfather being the founding band director of the Ohio University Marching Bands. Linda loves choral music because it weds text to music, and because the human voice, joined with others, is one of the most joyful expressions of the human spirit there is. She joins Men of Orpheus as director with great appreciation for its past and future.
